Beverage Industry - Surfwater Aluminum Bottled Water Launches

Recently, San Diego-based Surfwater introduced water packaged in a 100% recyclable aluminum bottle.  According to reports Surfwater is available in 16 ounce bottles in still or sparkling varieties.

Select schools, sporting goods stores, hotels, coffee shops, surf shops and other establishments in California and Florida offer Surfwater at the current time, however the company says the zero-plastic bottled water will be available on Amazon in the near future.  Single Surfwater bottles are priced between $2.49 and $2.99 while 12-packs sell for $19.99 to $24.99.

Surfwater describes the bottled water as crisp, clean, delicious, electrolyte-enhanced, and perfectly pH-balanced.  The company says the aluminum bottles are part of a much wider effort to do away with plastics that are detrimental to the environment and pollute the oceans.

Aluminum bottles are BPA free and water sourced from an underground aquifer, then put through a reverse osmosis system for purification and to ensure a delicious, pure taste.
