Markem-Imaje Launches SmartLase C350HD+ Laser Printer For Web Stick Pack Coding & Scoring

Markem-Imaje recently launched its new SmartLase C350HD+ laser printer, ideal for coding and scoring on triplex packaging film material used in sachets and stick packs.  The new printer requires less energy and will reduce the number of lasers necessary to code multiple stick pack lanes and wide film web.

The SmartLase C350HD+ printer incorporates a patented Intelli'Arc technology enabling superior coding that's 30% faster than conventional vector lasers.  With advances diodes, manufacturers will enjoy less material waste and fewer changeover times.  Manufacturers will also be able to keep upfront purchase costs down as two lasers can be used for coding 10 lanes of stick packs, or three for 12 lanes.

The new laser printer also includes Intelli'Cool technology which makes it possible to operate in temps ranging from 5 degrees Celsius (41 F) to 40 degrees Celsius (104 F) at full capacity, even at high-application duty cycles with no adverse impact on uptime and quality.

Sachets and stick packs are often used in products designed for consumers to use on-the-go and in the food service industry, particularly food and drinks available in single-serve portions.  The new laser printer is available in two wave lengths to better serve the needs of manufacturers, and is designed primarily to help save on operating and capital expenses while increasing uptime and coding speed.
