PepsiCo Pairs With German Dairy To Bring Premium Yogurt Products To US

PepsiCo, a leader in the U.S. soft drink industry for decades, is partnering in a joint venture with Theo Muller Group, a privately held dairy business that is the largest in Germany to bring innovative premium yogurt products to the United States dairy market in mid July. According to reports, the dairy products are the first to enter the U.S. market from either company. Muller Corner, Muller Greek Corner and Muller FrutUp are the products that will be coming to store shelves in the U.S. shortly.   • Muller FrutUp, a yogurt that offers fruit on the top and begins with fresh fruit prepared onsite with yogurt. Flavors include Luscious Lemon, Radiant Raspberry, Blueberry Bliss, Splendid Strawberry and Very Cherry. The fruit on the top means that consumers can dip, mix, scoop or swirl.
  • Muller Corner and Muller Greek Corner offer add-ins packaged separately from the yogurt so consumers can dip, mix in or eat however they like. The Corner varieties include Choco Balls, Chocolate Flakes, Crispy Crunch, Crunchy Granola, Blueberry and Strawberry. Muller Greek Corner will be available in Blackberry & Raspberry, Caramelized Almonds, Honeyed Apricot and Strawberry.
It is expected that through the year 2016, the dairy industry will grow more than any other worldwide.
