Packaging Products - Sub Zero Hot Melt Adhesive From Technicote

Recently it was announced that Ohio-based Technicote has introduced Sub Zero, a hot melt freezer grade adhesive created to work in challenging environments such as below 0 freezer temperatures.

According to announcements, Sub Zero was designed especially for products that are frozen during shipping or while in storage, and is effective on substrates such as packaging susceptible to frost, rough surfaces, and corrugated packaging.  General-purpose label adhesives often do not provide adequate adhesion to items frozen during the packaging process.

In agreement with FDA regulations for indirect food contact, Sub Zero provides ultimate adhesion and high initial tack when used in a variety of applications where packages are kept at freezer temperatures down to -10 degrees F.

Technicote marketing director Ed Klene said that the addition of Sub Zero is a great fit for the company, and that the hot melt adhesive can be used in conjunction with a wide array of liners and facestocks to furnish the ideal solution to labeling needs of customers.

Technicote provides a variety of packaging products to customers including transfer adhesives, paper and film liners, roll labels and more.
