Industrial Coding - Stacy's Pita Chips Women-Designed Snack Packaging

March is Women's History month, and what better time to launch snack packaging with designs created by female artists?  That's exactly what Stacy's Pita Chips did when it released six limited-edition bags designed by women and supporting businesses run by women.

According to reports Stacy's Pita Chips is a brand founded by women that has created the Stacy's Rise Program this year which will provide funding to support female food entrepreneurs.  Sales of the limited-edition film snack sacks also support United Way micro-grants aimed at closing the wide funding gap for businesses founded by women.  Each of the six designs on the snack packages reflects a stage in the entrepreneur's process.  These include the Inspiration bag by Nomoco, the Courage bag by Amrita Marino, the Grit bag by Alexandra Bowman, the Nourishment bag by Jane Beaird, the Success bag by Jade Purple Brown, and the Community bag by Eleni Kolorkati.  These are the six vital stages of the journey of the female entrepreneur.

Stacy's Snacks VP of marketing Ciara Dilley says that female entrepreneurs receive approximately 2% of all venture funding although women own 38% of businesses in the U.S.  This is a huge imbalance, and one that Stacy's Pita Chips hopes to reduce.

Stacy's Snacks offers a wide array of products including pita chips in a variety of flavors, pita thins, cheese petites, bagel chips and organic pita chips.  Some of the flavors include garlic and herbs, cheese, toasted cheddar, fire roasted, garden veggie, Parmesan with rosemary and Romano with garlic.  Consumers can donate $10 and receive an exclusive limited edition bag along with an 8 x 10 print at Stacyssnacks.com
